The Battle of Magnesia
Rome drives the Seleucids out of Asia Minor

At the end of 190 BC the consul Lucius Cornelius Scipio and his ally Eumenes II of Pergamon crushed the army of Antiochus III. Under the Peace of Apamea (188 BC) the Seleucids left Asia Minor and paid a huge indemnity, and their lands went to Pergamon and Rhodes.
