The Elamites carry off Hammurabi's stele
The trophy turned up in Susa three thousand years later

Around 1158 BC the Elamite king Shutruk-Nakhunte crushed Kassite Babylonia and carried trophies off to Susa, among them the stele of Hammurabi's laws and the victory stele of Naram-Sin. French archaeologists found them there in 1901; both are now in the Louvre.
