Celtic La Tène culture
The Celts spread from Ireland to Asia Minor

From the mid-5th century BC until the Roman conquest the Celts of the La Tène culture lived across Europe: iron swords, chariots, gold torcs and a distinctive swirling style. It is named after a site on Lake Neuchâtel, Switzerland, where thousands of Celtic objects emerged when a drought lowered the lake in 1857.
