Stone beds and dressers in a village older than the pyramids

In the winter of 1850 a storm stripped the sand from a dune on Orkney, revealing a village lived in from about 3180 to 2500 BC. Each house has a hearth, stone beds on either side and a stone dresser facing the door, with drains running beneath.
