Bhaskara II's Līlāvatī
An arithmetic book named, legend says, for a daughter
Legend says Bhaskara calculated the auspicious moment for his daughter Lilavati's wedding and timed it with a water clock. She peeked in, a pearl from her dress fell into the vessel and spoiled the clock, and the moment passed. To console her he named his book of problems after her.
