Tenochtitlan conquers Tlatelolco
The Aztecs swallow their twin city on the island

Moquihuix, ruler of Tlatelolco, attacked neighbouring Tenochtitlan, but the tlatoani Axayacatl defeated him, and Moquihuix leapt from the top of a temple. The city of the Valley of Mexico's great market became part of Tenochtitlan.
