Wars of the Roses
Lancaster and York fight thirty years for the throne
The feud between two branches of the Plantagenets began with the Battle of St Albans in 1455, and the crown changed hands several times. It was ended by Henry Tudor, who defeated Richard III at Bosworth in 1485 and married Elizabeth of York.
