Rudradaman's inscription at Junagadh
One of the first long inscriptions in Sanskrit

Around 150 the Western Satrap Rudradaman carved on a rock near Girnar an account of how he rebuilt the storm-breached dam of Lake Sudarshana, built under the Mauryas, and of his victories over the Satavahanas. It is one of the oldest long inscriptions in classical Sanskrit.
