The Kutlug Timur Minaret
Urgench, reborn after the Mongols, raises a 60-metre minaret

Rebuilt after the Mongol sack, Urgench flourished again under the Golden Horde. Its governor Kutlug Timur completed a brick minaret about 60 metres tall, well above Bukhara's Kalyan; today it stands almost in the desert, far from the shifted Oxus.
