The Tsar Bell is cast
The world's largest bell has never rung once

In 1735 Mikhail Motorin cast a bell of about 202 tonnes in the Kremlin. It was still in its casting pit when fire broke out in 1737: guards threw cold water on the hot bronze and a slab of over 10 tonnes cracked off. It has never been rung.
