Battle of Vouillé
The Franks take nearly all of Gaul from the Visigoths

In spring 507 Clovis defeated the Visigoths at Vouillé near Poitiers; King Alaric II fell in battle. The Franks took Aquitaine and Toulouse, and the Visigothic kingdom withdrew beyond the Pyrenees, keeping only Septimania in Gaul.
