Lady Dai of Mawangdui
A mummy with soft skin and 138 melon seeds in her stomach

Xin Zhui, wife of the Han Marquis of Dai, died around 168 BC. Her body, found in 1971, is one of the best-preserved mummies ever discovered. The autopsy found 138 melon seeds: she ate the melon a couple of hours before dying, so she died in summer.
