November Uprising
Warsaw rises against Russia and deposes Nicholas I

On 29 November 1830 cadet conspirators attacked Grand Duke Constantine's residence in Warsaw; in January 1831 the Sejm declared Nicholas I deposed as King of Poland. After defeats and the storming of Warsaw in September 1831 the rising was crushed and the Kingdom's constitution revoked.
