Battle of Warsaw
Poland throws the Red Army back from Warsaw

In August 1920 Tukhachevsky's armies reached Warsaw, but on 16 August Józef Piłsudski's strike group attacked their flank and rear from the Wieprz river, and the Red Army fell back east. The 1921 Peace of Riga drew a Soviet-Polish border that lasted until 1939.
